What a great day at Romiley, they really do look after us there. The meet and greet, the fantastic condition that the course was in and the quality of the food, it really is a pleasure to visit this fantastic golf club.

Congratulations to all our winners, Tony Guy returned the trophy as last years winner, and then he went and won it again with 35 points. Beaten on a card play off was Mike Williams, well played Mike, that’s a great score round Romiley.

Third place again on a card play off was Mike Sallabank, with 34 points, he beat his playing partner Dave Bolton who won the front nine prize so not bad after all.

Now, nearest the pin was Brian Child on the 2nd - not one person hit the green on the 11th.

Pride of place went to Chris Hamer's guest Marc Atkinson, best score of the day with 37 points.

100 club draw was won by Steve O’Brien - £50, second was Steve Henry - £30 and Ford Garrard third with £20.
